Salvador de Bahia

Salvador de Bahia

A woman with short curly hair wearing a cream-colored shirt with black text and layered necklaces, speaking to a man in a blue shirt with a blurred background of colorful buildings and parked cars on a sunny day.

Salvador is the Blackest city outside of Africa—that’s one reason to love it.

This trip is perfect for anyone rooting for everybody Black and interested in learning about and connecting with the global African diaspora.

We’ll visit Black-owned shops, learn about Salvador’s history, dance in the streets, experience local food and nightlife, and attend a music festival from this coastal city during Bahia’s Black Consciousness Month.
