Accra City Tour
During the Accra City Tour, we’ll explore the best of Accra. Our tour will take you to famous landmarks like the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial and Independence Square. You’ll tap into Ghana’s history and culture on an experience led by locals.
Cape Coast Experience
This journey marks your official return home to the motherland, to Ghana. Celebrate with a transformative visit to Cape Coast Castle and Kakum National Park. At Kakum, you’ll hike to the treetop canopies, and at the 'castle,' walk the same path as our ancestors during their last moments on the coast of West Africa at the 'Door Of No Return.'
The City & Coast Day Pass includes entry fees, lunch, and round-trip group transportation for two curated Buoyant experiences:
December 27, 2025: Accra City Tour
January 2, 2026: Cape Coast Experience
Plus: Insider access to the Buoyant community for nightlife and social connections throughout your stay in Ghana.

FAQs
Q: What's included in the City & Coast Day Pass? All entry fees, lunch, and round-trip group transportation from the designated meeting point for both experiences (December 27 & January 2). Plus, you will have exclusive access to connect with the Buoyant community during your stay.
Q: What's NOT included? Accommodation, airport transfers, festival tickets, and meals outside the scheduled experiences. Day passes are for the two mentioned experiences only.
Q: Where do we meet? Meeting point details will be shared with confirmed travelers upon booking.
Q: Can I purchase just the NYE Lituation without the day pass? No, the NYE Lituation is exclusively available to City & Coast Day Pass holders. This ensures everyone at our intimate NYE celebration is already part of the Buoyant community.
Q: What is "community access"? Community access connects you with Buoyant kinfolk and our local connections in Ghana—cool people, insider spots, and authentic social experiences beyond the scheduled tours. Think of it as joining the crew, not just taking a tour.
Q: Do I need to arrange my own accommodation? Yes. Day passes cover experiences only—no accommodation, airport pickup, or related services are included. You're responsible for booking your own lodging in Accra/Ghana.
Q: What's your refund policy? All sales are final. No refunds.
Q: What time do experiences start and end? Detailed itineraries will be provided upon booking. December in Ghana is extremely busy, and the exact timing varies due to traffic. Please set aside 6-8 hours for each full-day experience. We do not recommend booking if you're on a strict schedule or have other commitments on those days.
Q: What's the payment schedule? Payment is due in full at booking. All day passes must be booked by December 1, 2025.
Q: What if I can only make one of the two days? Day passes are not à la carte. If you miss a day or can only attend one experience, no credits, refunds, or makeup experiences will be provided. Please only book if you can commit to December 27 and January 2.
Q: Do I need a visa to visit Ghana? Yes, most travelers need a visa. Check Ghana's visa requirements for your nationality and apply well in advance.
Q: What should I bring/wear? Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, hat, and weather-appropriate clothing. Ghana is warm and humid in December. Bring cash and a card.
Q: What happens if an experience is cancelled due to circumstances beyond Buoyant's control? In the rare event of cancellation due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, we'll do our best to reschedule or provide an alternative experience. However, we cannot guarantee makeup experiences or refunds for circumstances beyond our control.
Q: Is there an age requirement? Day pass travelers must be 21+.
Q: Do I need travel insurance? We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. It is your responsibility to arrange this.
