Batik (pronounced ba-teek) is an ancient fabric art practice featuring hand-stamped designs. Hot wax is stamped onto the fabric and dyed during the batik-making process.
One or more dips in the dye may be necessary before the wax is removed and your design is revealed. The workshop includes a waiting period for your batik fabric to dry, and afterward, you can take your beautiful creation home.
Note: This is a public experience, so you may be joined by other travelers.
